Yokosuka City Museum
The museum is organized around the theme of nature and history of the Miura Peninsula. Exhibits include fossil specimens of Naumann elephants and specimens of organisms from the Miura Peninsula. In addition, the history of the peninsula from Perry's arrival to the Meiji Restoration is explained, and the trajectory of the Yokosuka Iron Works is also introduced.
