Saitama Museum of Natural History
Located in Nagatoro-machi, Saitama Prefecture, this natural science museum features a reconstructed model of Carcharodon megalodon, a giant shark that lived 15 million years ago when the Chichibu Basin was a sea, and a skeletal specimen of Paleoparadoxia, a marine animal. There is also a large diorama showing the forests of Saitama and the changes of the four seasons.
