Min-On Music Museum
The Min-On Music Museum is a museum specializing in music, with a collection of musical instruments, scores, music books and other musical materials. The permanent exhibition includes a classical piano room (explanation and performance), automatic musical instruments, a music box room (explanation and performance), and an exhibition room for folk instruments. Currently, there is a special exhibition, "A Journey of Distant Music with Koizumi Fumio" Exhibition II: What does music mean to humans? This exhibition introduces the footsteps of Mr. Koizumi Fumio, a "musicologist in action" who pursued the roots of the music of the headhunters and other ethnic groups of the world, as well as his achievements.
Currently, we request that visitors make a reservation to visit the museum. Admission may be denied to those who do not wear a mask. For more information, please see the website.
