Fire Museum
Visitors can learn about the history of firefighting from the Edo period to the present day through the development of organized firefighting in the Edo period with picture scrolls and nishikie pictures, as well as dioramas of firefighting activities. Actual classic firefighting cars and helicopters from the Taisho to Heisei era are on display. The mechanization and modernization of firefighting equipment is also displayed in an easy-to-understand manner.
You can learn about modern firefighting through videos and models, and you can also experience what it feels like to be a member of a firefighting team by experiencing the latest information from the Tokyo Fire Department and simulated firefighting activities.
