The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo

In 2007, the Artcomplex Center of Tokyo (ACT) opened in a quiet residential area in Daikyocho, Shinjuku, as an art complex. With Shinjuku Gyoen and Jingu Gaien as its backdrop, the center aims to be a new "hub" for art.
In addition to providing a venue for the presentation of artworks and opportunities to exhibit them, ACT also proactively supports artists' activities and proposes the creation and development of an art community by organizing a variety of workshops and public exhibitions.
ACT has five independent gallery spaces on the second floor of the building, based on the key design concept of a gallery complex. The gallery spaces are rented, but the gallery also hosts exhibitions and events.
