Gunma Music Center Symphony Hall

Gunma Music Center Symphony Hall

The Symphony Hall was built in 1991 on the south side of the Gunma Music Center with the aim of further promoting the creation and development of culture in Gunma. The basic design was done by the Raymond Design Office, which is associated with the Music Center. The modern white reinforced concrete building has two floors above ground and one floor below, and has five halls: large, medium, and small. The large hall is used for orchestras and brass bands, the medium hall for chorus and ensembles, and the small hall for rehearsals of individual parts, etc. As a rehearsal hall with excellent acoustics, it is contributing to the improvement of the musical environment in Takasaki.
