NERIMA ART MUSEUM
The Nerima Art Museum opened on October 1, 1985.
Since its opening, the museum has held a variety of exhibitions, mainly focusing on modern and contemporary Japanese art, with a fresh perspective and approach.
In addition to collecting, conserving, managing, researching, and exhibiting artworks, which are the cornerstones of an art museum, the museum also offers a variety of educational programs, such as gallery talks by curators and artists, concerts in the lobby, and lectures on various techniques and knowledge.
In order to be an open art museum, we also rent out the ward residents' gallery and the creative room for the residents to use as a place to create and present their works. It is our hope that the museum will be loved by more and more residents and art fans, and that it will become a source of pride for the people of Nerima.
