The Museum of Modern Art, KAMAKURA ANNEX
Opened in 1984. Mainly houses Japanese modern paintings and sculptures. With an emphasis on the relationship with the modern world, the museum holds exhibitions of modern and contemporary art from Japan and abroad with a unique perspective. It was reopened in October 2019. The museum is currently closed for renovation work (July 6 - January 2021).
