National Museum of Nature and Science
Founded in 1877, it is one of the oldest museums in Japan and the only national museum of natural history and the history of science and technology. The museum has two buildings, the Japan Pavilion, where you can learn about the nature of the Japanese archipelago, and the Earth Pavilion, where you can learn about the history of life on Earth, and exhibits about 25,000 specimens and materials.
