Koishikawa Annex, The University Museum, The University of Tokyo
The University Museum of the University of Tokyo, Koishikawa Branch, opened in 2001 in the former Tokyo Medical School building (built in 1876), which was designated as a national important cultural property, and is currently displaying a permanent exhibition, "Architecture Natural History/Architectonica," which focuses on architecture.
It features architectural models, natural history specimens, and ethnographic materials based on the theme of "architecture" (principles of architecture). Special exhibitions and events such as the "Architecture Museum Classroom" are also held from time to time.
